DESCRIPTION:http://bmwclubwa.asn.au/event-848782\n\nBMW Club WA is once again running its annual Driver Training Day at Barbagallo Raceway\, in conjunction with our colleagues from the WRX Owners Club of WA.\n \n Club members will receive one-on-one tuition from experienced instructors before being allowed to undertake solo practice laps in their own cars.\n \n Note the time of the event: this year we are running the event on a  late Friday afternoon and into the night\, finishing by 9.30 pm. The track is floodlit and it is anticipated the training aspect should be completed in daylight\, with the free laps under lights. The entire session will be held on the 'short track' portion of the raceway.\n \n Places will be restricted to 12 participants from each club and we expect a full subscription. Places for BMW Club members can be reserved by registering your interest on this website and by payment of the Event Fee. Places will be reserved in the order that payment is received. We will hold up to 3 reserve places in case of cancellations by participants from either club.\n \n This year the Event Fee will be $120. Participants should be aware that their cars must pass a pre-event scrutiny\, that includes the proper fitment of a current fire extinguisher\, and that all drivers must hold a CAMS Competition Licence before they will be allowed on the track. A specific licence for the event can be purchased at the event\, for an additional $30\, if the participant does not hold a current CAMS licence.\n \n The Club will provide a light evening meal and refreshments for participants at no additional cost\n
