The Town of Northam is resurrecting its Motor Sport Festival in April, with the Mount Ommaney Hill Climb on Saturday 7th April and the Northam Flying 50 on Sunday 8th April, when sports cars, race cars and historic touring cars will race around the streets of the town in a regularity format.
BMW Club WA will be heading to Northam on Sunday to participate in a car club display (free parking!) and to see the classic cars race by. Preliminary details indicate that we'll form our convoy at Stirling Gardens in Guildford at 9.00 am, leaving there soon after to reach Northam in time for the start of the Flying 50 at around 10.30 am.
In conjunction with the Festival, will be car displays, street stalls, live band and a huge array of family entertainment, so there will be plenty to see and do, and eat.
Closer to the time we will call for RSVPs so we have an idea of numbers for the car display.
